Job Summary


This is an exciting opportunity to join Telecom Egypt's Corporate Strategy Planning & Development team. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the planning and development of our commercial business strategies with a focus on both the Wholesale and International Businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating strategic alternatives, preparing business cases, and establishing the foundations for business development to drive growth and enhance our market position in both the Domestic & International segments.



Key responsibilities


Participate in the development of future business developments plans for Wholesale and International segments, ensuring alignment with customer needs, revenue growth, and market competitiveness.

Monitor industry trends and global partnerships, evaluating new commercial models, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions for feasibility and impact.

Collaborate with business units to review and improve current models, addressing evolving requirements of domestic wholesale and international customers.

Provide benchmarking, reports, and case studies to guide strategic decisions, optimize financial and operational performance, and support corporate-level execution.



Qualifications


Appropriate higher education qualification in Business Administration, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

At least 8 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a similar role within the telecommunications industry, with a focus on wholesale business, the submarine cable market, Data Centers landscape and collaboration with the hyperscalers.

Global experience in different markets is recommended

MBA is a plus

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies for wholesale / the submarine cables / international carrier business.

Strong understanding of the telecommunications market, including wholesale business, submarine cable trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in English and Arabic.

Proficiency in computer use.

Leadership and guidance skills.

Time management skills.

Flexibility and openness to new ideas.
