Context
UN Women, guided by the UN Charter, works to eliminate discrimination against women and girls, empower women, and achieve gender equality across development, human rights, humanitarian action, and peacebuilding. Communicating gender data effectively is vital for influencing policy and driving action. To strengthen visibility and use of gender data, the Regional Office for Arab States (ROAS) will produce three evidence-based infographics by the end of 2025. These visuals will translate analytical findings into accessible formats, highlighting key messages on gender equality, women’s leadership, and emerging issues. The infographics will follow UN Women’s branding standards to ensure consistency and professionalism. A UN Volunteer with expertise in visual communication and data storytelling will lead this initiative under the supervision of the Regional Programme Specialist.
