Role Description

The Backend Developer - Nest.JS (4-6 years of experience) will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Nest.JS framework. Responsibilities include implementing APIs, working on database integration, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. The role also involves troubleshooting and debugging to enhance system functionality and ensuring the security and scalability of applications. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Skilled in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Programming principles
• Familiarity with Front-End Development for integration and collaboration purposes
• Experience with Nest.JS framework and RESTful API development is essential
• Strong understanding of database technologies and design
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to debug and optimize code effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of software security best practices is an advantage
